Clearing a house after losing someone
Bereavement clearances are done at your pace, and we'll work room by room if that's easier. Anything that looks personal is set to one side for you: photographs, paperwork, jewellery, and nothing goes without you saying so first.
The tenants have gone and left it full
End of tenancy and vacated property clearances for landlords, agents and solicitors. Emptied, swept, and disposed of through a licensed carrier with the documentation for your file. Often turned round in as little as two days.
Mid-renovation and the waste is piling up
We come after a kitchen or bathroom rip-out and take the lot: units, tiles, old suites, plasterboard, rubble, timber. Saves hiring a skip, and it's gone the day we come rather than sitting outside the house.
A garden that got away from you
Green waste, brambles, hedge cuttings, rotten fence panels, old decking. We also handle garden tidy-ups and general maintenance, so it doesn't just get emptied, it gets left looking right.
The shed or garage has to come down
Sheds and greenhouses dismantled, contents and all, plus garage clearances. You don't need to empty it out first or take anything apart. That's the job, and it goes in one visit.
It just needs a proper clean

Green Environmental Services was set up in 2015 by a team who'd already spent years doing this work for someone else. Since then it's grown almost entirely on recommendations and repeat customers, which is why so many of the reviews below use his name rather than the company's.
We're an upper tier registered waste carrier, licence CBDU614586, checkable on the Environment Agency public register and valid to December 2028. Everything we take away is disposed of through licensed channels, with recycling separated out wherever it can be.

Things people ask before booking
Do I need to be there while you work?
No. Plenty of jobs happen while people are at work or living elsewhere, common with tenancy and probate clearances. As long as we can get access, we'll clear it, sweep up and let you know when it's done.
Do I have to move it outside first?
No. The lifting and carrying is the job. Loft, garage, upstairs, bottom of the garden, inside a shed that's half collapsed. There's no extra charge for stairs or a long carry.
Is this cheaper than hiring a skip?
Very often, yes, and customers tell us so in the reviews. With a skip you pay for the hire, apply for a permit if it's going on the road, have it sitting outside your house for days, and you still load it yourself. We turn up, load it and it's gone.
How quickly can you come?
Often the same day or the day after, and we're open seven days a week from 7am to 6pm. A full house clearance is typically completed in as little as two days.
Where does it all end up?
We're an upper tier registered waste carrier, CBDU614586, valid to December 2028 and checkable on the Environment Agency public register. Anything recyclable is separated and recycled, and the rest goes through licensed disposal. Ask and you'll get the paperwork for your records.
What if there's more than there looked in the photos?
Then that's on us. The price we agreed is the price you pay. The only time it changes is if you add things afterwards, and we'd tell you the new figure before touching them. Several reviews mention us taking extra bits that weren't in the original quote at no extra cost.
